This book fair was lit. It was held at The Mines from 8/12 - 18/12. It was my first time to go there. Because previously I only went to IOI City Mall and D'Pulze which are near to my place. Luckily The Mines is quite far than those two but the fare for Uber was affordable as my housemate has promo code. HAHAHAHA. LOL. If we didn't have promo code the fare to go there from Dengkil is RM26. After we reached there, we straight to the where the book fair is held. It was pretty amusing for me as it was my first time to go such big festival especially it's a book fair.
There were so many books. Of course la it's a book fair kan. I was looking for specific author such as Cecelia Ahern and Nicholas Sparks. But i couldn't find them. After wandering around at romance section, i chose five books which include Stephen King' book. The price was so cheap and affordable. Although I only bought 5 books but the total was only RM56 which is so much cheaper than at other times. All the books' prices at there are between RM8-RM12. I was so satisfied.
I never though that The Mines has river inside it. I think the river was quite long as my friend said. There were also boats that carry people on it. I think that is the most interesting thing that only can be found at The Mines. But I couldn't wandering at all the shops at the mall because we were so tired as we brought with us books that is so heavy. So after we had lunch at Pizza Hut we headed straight back home which is 'Dengkil'. For sure I will go there again either very sooner or later.
